Maximise your performance in the Final Examination for Fellowship.

The College is proud to offer candidates a unique, comprehensive course over three days to maximise success and grow confidence for passing the Final Examination for Fellowship.

Candidates who complete RACDS educational programmes prior to sitting the Final Examination have greater success. This course provides you with a unique opportunity to work with examiners, experienced facilitators and other candidates to facilitate your success.

An exciting new programme in 2019 replaces the former Final Exam Workshop.

It will offer you:

  • Multidisciplinary content updates in contemporary dentistry with emphasis on how you can reflect on your own clinical experience
  • Guidance in how to use evidence and demonstrate an integrated and patient-centred approach to examiners

Sessions will also be offered on how to pass the written sections with sample exam questions and answers provided.

Small group sessions with examiners offer you practice at critical thinking, analysis, diagnosis and treatment planning. You will be equipped with a tool-kit of techniques and ideas for study to prepare for success and have training in viva voce techniques.

Included in the course enrolment cost, the College invites all participants to a casual dinner on the Friday evening. This social occasion is an opportunity to meet and talk with co-participants, course facilitators, Fellows and College representatives.

Numbers for the Preparation for Fellowship Success Course are limited so please register early to avoid disappointment.

*Candidates are also strongly encouraged to enrol for the complete Web Based Education (WBE) program which consists of four modules and provides additional practice at preparing written responses with the opportunity to receive feedback from markers on performance. It is recommended that Module 1 of the Web Based Education (WBE) Programme for the Final Exam is completed prior to attending the FEW as it provides additional exam information and ideas for study to improve your confidence and success.
