GENERAL DENTISTRY No 1 SELF ASSESSMENT PROGRAMME
Welcome to this Self Assessment Programme in General Dentistry, prepared by the Continuing Professional Development Committee of the College.
It is hoped that you find it stimulating and informative - and a catalyst for further investigation into any areas of particular interest or deficiency of knowledge.
By definition, the Programme must be a 'living document'. As such, the Committee would be pleased to receive suggestions for further topics to be included in future versions of the Programme. In the same vein, clinical photographs that illustrate a current topic in General Dentistry would be most welcome.
The Self Assessment Programmes cover the following topics:
- Oral Surgery/ Oral Medicine
- Trauma
- Dental Materials
- Paediatric Dentistry
- Endodontics
- General Dentistry 1. and 2.
Each consists of some twenty Questions and Answers, supported by clinical photographs and references, if thought useful. Completion time is approximately 25 minutes.
We encourage you to take the challenge and give your knowledge an airing.
