Member of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons - Special Field Stream (MRACDS)
This new pathway presents existing and potential Fellows who are specialists an opportunity to become Members of the College.
Membership will be open to specialists in the fields of Endodontics, Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Special Needs Dentistry.
Those specialists who have completed appropriate postgraduate programs prior to 30 June 2009 will be eligible to apply for recognition leading to the award of Membership (see Pathway and Fee structure and Application for Membership form below).
Candidates who will be completing their postgraduate studies after June 2009, may apply for Eligibility to present for a Membership Examination (see Pathway and Fee structure and Application for Eligibility form below).

For Applicants who have completed a specialist program prior to 30 June 2009 - Application for Membership 
Possible outcomes of applications based on prior recognition:
a. Application is approved. Invitation to apply for Admission to Membership in that Special Field
b. Application does not meet with the prior recognition requirement. However deemed eligible to sit for Membership Examination. In this instance the fee of the application minus A$463 and any associated bank fees if applicable will be refunded
c. Application is unsuccessful. The application fee minus A$463 and any associated bank fees if applicable will be refunded
For Candidates completing a Specialist Program - Application for Eligibility to sit Membership examination
Possible outcomes of applications:
a. Application is approved. Invitation to register for membership examination in that Special Field
b. Application does not meet with the requirement. No refund is applicable.
